The tone of your departure will be set with a strong resignation email. The last few weeks of your employment will be enjoyable if you send a polished resignation letter.
If you make a mistake, it could hurt your reputation, referrals, and perhaps your future career. Additionally, it will make it awkward to work throughout your notice time.

Tips for Writing a Resignation Email Message
Again, unless you work remotely, an in-person meeting is typically the best method to resign from a job. However, if you must resign through email, follow these guidelines to do so successfully and on good terms:
Two weeks’ notice is required.
Give your company, if at all possible, the normal two-week notice period before quitting. Give the employer as much notice as you can if that isn’t possible. This will enable you to keep up a positive working relationship with your previous job.
Make your email subject line explicit.
Use a straightforward and concise subject line for your emails, such as “Resignation – Your Name.” Your employer will immediately understand the purpose of your message if you do this. As soon as possible, you want them to open and read the email.
Give the day you intend to depart.
Include your intended departure date in the email. This will make it apparent to your company when you may expect to deliver.
Don’t get too specific.
You are under no obligation to explain your reasons for leaving or your plans for the future. You are welcome to provide a succinct explanation. You might mention, for instance, that you are leaving because of a change in your family situation, your work, or because you are enrolling in graduate school. But you probably shouldn’t mention it if you’re just moving on to another job. No matter what, make your response succinct and encouraging.
Extend your thankfulness.
This is an excellent opportunity to express gratitude for your employment with the organization. Do not, however, complain or make any unfavorable remarks in your email if you were dissatisfied with the business.
Offer to help.
Offer to aid the business with the changeover if you are able to. For instance, you could offer to teach a new employee during your last few days of employment and/or make yourself available to answer queries for a few weeks after you leave.
Pose inquiries.
Additionally, this is your chance to inquire about salary or benefits, such as when or where you will get your last paycheck. Your employer and the human resources department should both receive the email. These kinds of questions will be able to be addressed by human resources.
