If you want to maximize the impact of your social media posts, when should you do it? It’s a timeless inquiry, but we have the answer.
Using data from more than 30,000 social media posts, researchers looked for patterns that might indicate peak engagement times. Briefly, our investigation yielded the following results:
Posting on social media at ten in the morning on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays is, generally speaking, going to yield the best results.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, from eight in the morning to twelve in the afternoon, is the optimum time to post on Facebook.
Wednesday at eleven o’clock in the morning is the greatest time to post on Instagram.
Monday mornings at 8:00 a.m. and Thursday mornings before work is the greatest time to post on Twitter.
Tuesday and Wednesday morning at nine o’clock in the morning is the greatest time to publish on LinkedIn.
Thursdays around seven o’clock in the evening are the finest time to publish to TikTok.
But what exactly does all of this mean?
If you are just getting started with social media and don’t have a lot of data from previous postings or audience insights to work with, the times listed above are good times to post content on social media.
However, they have a very broad scope. As your accounts continue to expand, you will need to adjust your publishing schedule so that it is more in line with the actions of your particular audience. It’s possible that you’ll be startled by how different it is from the average populace.
