Apple aficionados have reason to celebrate, as the tech giant rolls out its innovative iOS 18.4 update, unveiling a slew of new features alongside eight fresh emojis. The latest release was announced on Monday and with it came an initial set of Apple Intelligence features for the newly minted Apple Vision Pro, available in English.

"From today, you can access Apple Intelligence features via iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS Sequoia 15.4 in an array of new languages,” highlighted Apple in a recent press statement. The update also brings Apple Intelligence features to iPhone and iPad users in the European Union for the first time.

The update boasts a whole range of enticing features including Apple News+ featuring recipes and photolibrary organization tools.

Hot on the heels of the update launch, rumors swirled about the potential release of emojis modeled after famed female performing artists such as Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Ariana Grande. However, these were subsequently debunked by sports website Sportskeeda.

Apple has enabled Vision Pro users to find writing tools that proofread, rewrite and summarize text, and develop original text with the aid of ChatGPT. They can even design their own emojis using Genmoji and take advantage of the Image Playground, a first-time experience driven by Apple Intelligence. This clever application allows users to create new images from descriptions, concepts or people drawn from their existing photo library.

Owners of iPhone 16 models, iPhone 15 Pros, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max are treated to new Apple Intelligence features with the latest update. Key notifications now gain prominence at the top of the roster, signaling alerts that may need urgent attention, according to Apple's support news.

Creators can now utilize the Sketch style in Image Playground to craft sketch-style renderings, while the feature's language support has been broadened to include eight additional languages and two new English locales, among them French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, simplified Chinese and Spanish.

Food enthusiasts will be thrilled to find the Apple News+ app now includes a catalog of recipes to search and save, as well as a handy cooking mode with step-by-step instructions. The Apple Photos app has been upgraded with inventive search and sorting filters, enabling users to customize their library view.

And families who engage with the Screen Time app can rest assured that specific limits remain intact, even if a child removes and then reinstalls an app.

For those who desire a pause and play capability for app updates and downloads, Apple has now incorporated this functionality. Podcast followers will also find a new widget showing followed shows, latest episodes, saved and downloaded content.

Creating child-appropriate default settings, providing access to curated playlists and integrating controls for certain robotic vacuum cleaners into the Home app are but a few of the exciting new changes with the iOS 18.4 software update.

On top of all this, the new update also offers system language support in ten new languages including Bangla, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
