Notable director Denis Villeneuve is rumored to be considering enlistment of another major Hollywood star, Robert Pattinson, for an upcoming chapter in the epically successful “Dune” series. As per insider reports to Variety, there is said to be interest in having the "Twilight" star join the esteemed cast of “Dune: Messiah.” The existing cast features big names like Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya. At this juncture, no official offer has been made to Pattinson, and his potential character is under wraps. The production house at the helm, Legendary, has not provided any comment so far.

Known for his recent powerful performance alongside Zendaya in the film “The Drama” by A24, Pattinson is currently busy shooting for Christopher Nolan’s rendition of “The Odyssey.” Pattinson is also the face of Warner Bros.'s “The Batman,” with a continuation of the franchise expected to hit the big screen in 2027. The esteemed actor is represented by WME, 3 Arts Entertainment, Curtis Brown Group and attorney Robert Offer.

The third installment of “Dune” was officially confirmed by Legendary last year, following the astounding success of “Dune: Part 2.” The first two movies generated a staggering sum of $1.12 billion worldwide at the box office and triumphed at the Oscars by clinching eight awards from 15 nominations. In addition to being box office hits, both entries even achieved the honor of best picture nominations.
